Mickey Brown

Mickey Brown with Alan Carr MBE

Mickey has been an advocate, champion and ambassador for the caravan from the moment it was “discovered”. He was on the “Carvan-Team” even before it had been found a home, assisting Alan Carr from the day that it was brought into his guardianship.

We are delighted that Mickey is now able to be part of the Peacing Together Adventure and who wouldn’t be … his enthusiasm and good vibes are infectious … and the world needs more of that.

The Poet Bloke … in his own words

“I have been in and around the Music industry for most of my life both writing producing and on the promotional side.

Since I first saw Suzi Quatro on top of the pops as a 12 year old boy she gave me the Music Bug with the ambition of one day having a hit record myself, that day came in 2006 through Parlophone the same label as The Beatles, so even better.

Being brought up on the Beatles since a child with both my Parents and my Grandparents being huge fans I was hooked from an early age.

Then the first time, just over six years ago, I was first shown this amazing piece of missing Beatles memorabilia by my great friend Alan Carr and I wanted to be involved.

In 2015 I was blessed with my first child a gorgeous son called Isaac now aged 5 he is my driving force and inspiration he’s been strumming his guitar and singing since he was 3 like all parents we want the best for our children I just want him to be as he is now Happy Loved and Kind.

For my day to day work  I am a networker and door opener, outside of work my passion is writing Personal Poetry.

I am known as ‘Poet Bloke’ due to my diverse style. I get it from my Mother Patsy who is incredible and a published poet, we have a book of poetry featuring our early work together.

Much of my work is now getting recognised I also write jingles and limericks for radio ads.

All of the above will hopefully come in handy for this incredible project which I am so proud and honoured to be a part of.”
